Curtiss XP-40Q Short Kit:
FAC Scale
The Curtiss XP-40Q was the final version of the
venerable P-40 design produced by Curtiss. This sleek and muscular design did not offer any significant
advantages over other contemporary fighters and the project was
terminated after three prototypes were constructed. Largely forgotten,
the lines of this airplane offer superb proportions for rubber power,
with a long nose moment and fuselage and clipped wings.
No landing gear detail is provided, model is intended
as gear-up version for Flying Aces Club mass launch events.
Build the Curtiss XP-40Q and baffle
everyone at the flying field when you bring it out to fly, and impress
them with long and spectacular flights
