The SUPER ‘J' is a scaled-up version of the JOULBOX E-36 design.

Thhe SUPER 'J' was devloped as the result of numerous JOULEBOX E-36 customer suggestions for a larger JOULBOX to fly in the AMA Electric A/B events. Maintaining the same arrangement and construction concept as the E-36 JOULEBOX, this design is simple and familiar to JOULBOX E-36 builders and offers an easy transition to this larger size competition class.

The SUPER ‘J’ kit highlights:
• The standard kit includes strip stock and laser cut parts for all airframe components. The carbon fuselage tube is also included.
• A finishing hardware pack is included to facilitate completion of the model for motor and subsystem installation, including details to install an optional auto rudder.
• The detailed CAD based construction drawing shows all the electronic components installed.
• The model can be built as a lock down version for AMA A/B electric, or with an auto rudder configuration for AMA B electric, which allows auto surfaces.

Design features of the SUPER ‘J’:

• Wing is a five-panel configuration with a flat center section.
• Fuselage concept is the same style deployed for the Joulebox E-36. A single carbon tube runs the full length for strength and ease of assembly.
• The wing pylon concept is similar to the E-36 design, and has fairing assemblies at the forward and aft ends for improved aerodynamic streamlining.
• The drivetrain and electronics installation are the same as the E-36 model except a larger motor, prop, ESC and lipo are utilized. Electronic timers used in the E-36 model work fine in the Super ‘J’. If running the auto rudder, a timer with an auto rudder or similar function will be needed. DT servo is the same size and style used in the E-36 version.
