The MONARCH is a turnkey kit ready for quick assembly and great flight performance

The MONARCH represents the latest in our line of kits and a new standard for P-30 construction.

The MONARCH is a robust model that builds easily with flight performance on par with its stable mate Boomer.  Features that allow this are the three panel wing, flat bottom AND unique flat top airfoil for both the wing and horizontal stabilizer.  No other P-30 on the market offers the unique truss rib structure that provides significant improvement for structural stiffness and resistance to twist.

And that’s not all!   The kit you order includes all hardware to build and fly without any additional items to purchase.

The Badge viscous timer and a 9.5 inch Gizmo Geezer Precision Freewheeler with accessories and instructions are included as standard equipment in each kit along with all the necessary items to install a wing and stabilizer pop-up Dethermalizer system.

Treat yourself to a MONARCH kit today and enjoy one of the best flying P-30 models around.

Kit features:

·        Top quality laser cut balsa and plywood parts-fit checked and proven prior to kit design release

·        Quality balsa strip stock

·        Esaki Tissue covering consisting of one red and one yellow sheet

·        Esaki Tissue printed wing logo for the MONARCH

·        CAD drawings for the model, simple fuselage construction tool design, alternate nose block construction for conventional prop system and alternate viscous timer and D/T setup included in the document package

·        Detailed construction manual with laser part legend sheets

·        Complete hardware package for everything noted on the kit drawing, including the dethermalizer system; there are no mystery requirements on this design

·   Badge viscous timer and mounting hardware

·   9.5 inch Gizmo Geezer Precision Freewheeler with accessories and instructions

·   Our own Adjustable Thrust Bearing (ATB) kit, which was used for a short period of time when the Gizmo Geezer front ends were not available, is available separately by special order. Please contact us for pricing and availability of the ATB. Both front end assemblies are shown on the plans.

Design features of the MONARCH:

·        Sheet balsa fuselage with interlocking joint tabs for robust and accurate assembly

·        Three motor peg positions designed into parts for variations in power performance

·        Sheet balsa pylon assembly

·        Lots of flat surfaces throughout make building and covering very easy

·        Unique three panel wing construction that comprises an airfoil ‘D’ section, full depth spars and a staggered truss aft wing box section that has built in wash-out in the tip panels

·        Airfoils are flat bottom and flat top aft of the maximum camber of the  airfoil ‘D’ section-covering is easy to apply and  aerodynamically smooth on all flying surfaces

·        Airfoil section is 8.6% thick tapering to 7.9% at the tip-same as the Boomer

·        Incidence adjustment screw for setting the horizontal stab position makes flight trimming simple and quick

·        9.5 inch Gizmo Geezer Precision Freewheeler prop assembly with accessories and instructions that makes thrust adjustments easy. and is state of the art for P-30 competition

·        Reliable wing and stabilizer pop-up dethermalizer system is designed into the model-no after sale engineering is required to complete this model to a contest ready standard; all features have been completely proven over years of contest flying

·        Nominal weight of model if built per design and Esaki covering used is 45 grams; minimum allowable contest weight is 40 grams
